Who is Sorrano?
I am a (proud) Malaysian Chinese currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in the United States. I have one of the most dramatic lives, ever. Movie-worthy stuff like being stuck in the airport for 5 days always happen to me. However, I somehow manage to remain sane and optimistic.
I live by: “If it can be dreamed, it can be done”.
What are some of your interests?
I am easily attracted to things and I move from one interest to the next really fast. But there are a few interests that I have been passionate about for years now. I worship food. Not just eating, I also SUPER love cooking, baking, food science, molecular gastronomy......basically anything that is related to food. And maybe that's why I have this unsightly double chin. Well besides that, I love traveling and participating in adventures. Seriously, who doesn’t? They make me feel alive. Oh and I spend most of my time Google-ing stuff. I am a big big fan of Google. I have friends who comment that I am a ‘walking’ Google. LOL.
On
a more abstract note, I am intrigued by new creative ideas and
projects. My creative process runs on a constant mode throughout the
day.
Why do I blog?
It has come to a time where I realized that my youth is depleting and that I have not achieved the many dreams that I have dreamt of. So I am using this blog as a motivation and as a platform to document my change.
Also, I talk a lot and I need more listeners. Really, after all those Google-ing I have done, I need to vent.
What will you blog about?
Almost everything! I do not like to limit myself to only certain categories.
I
have also created THE SORRANO CHALLENGE. It is a comprehensive list of
dreams I want to achieve before I die. (what if I die tomorrow LOL) I
figured that blogging the challenges will be a motivation for me to
complete the list. I am definitely going to share my experiences!
What will you not blog less about?
Fashion? I don’t think you will want to get fashion tips from me.
What is your relationship with Junapeno and Cayeneese?
We
are best friends! We knew each other since 11. Our friendship withstood
more than a decade now and I am thankful to have such awesome sisters.
